Online/Mobile Banking Security Updates

Attention all members!

On May 1st, 2018 will be officially retiring TLS 1.0 security protocol support on all of our services in order to align with industry best practices and ensure that your data continues to be highly secure.

TLS stands for “Transport Layer Security.” It is a protocol that provides privacy and data integrity between two communicating applications. It’s the most widely deployed security protocol used today, and is used for web browsers and other applications that require data to be securely exchanged over a network.

Starting May 1st we will disable the TLS 1.0 encryption protocol, which may prevent members who still use it from using some or all of their online and mobile banking functionality. This means that you may need to upgrade your browsers to disable TLS 1.0 and use TLS 1.1 or higher. This change will not affect you in any other way.

You can test your TLS “score” by visiting this website:

We aim for this process to be as smooth and simple as possible. Our primary goal in this effort is to maintain the highest possible security standards and help keep your data secure.
